So last year they remodeled the house in Cleveland where A Christmas Story was shot to look like the house in the movie. I wonder if it's still open. And Cleveland? I had no idea. I thought it was shot in upstate New York or something.

My mother grew up in northern Ohio (Oberlin) and loves that movie because it is so evocative of her childhood. They even used to drive into Cleveland to see the window displays at Higbee's department store (and I remember getting presents from my grandparents in Higbee's boxes well into my early childhood).
