I'm participating in NaPlWriMo this November. (Right, as if I weren't already working, and taking a doctoral course, and serving on a volunteer committee, and training for a 5K, etc. etc.)
However, I'm so results oriented I have to have a goal breathing down my neck to keep going forward.
My play is a response to all the murder mystery/noir plays that I had to read for the committee. All English Manor. All of them. In a fit of pique, I yelled, "I'm sick of it! I'm going to write a Wild West mystery!"
So here I am. 10 pages in and all is well.
